Who supports your computer network?
In the beginning, it’s the owner or manager…probably you! Then your business grows, and you find out one of your new salespeople seems to know a bit about computers, so you turn the task over to him. Before long, he either runs out of time to fix computer problems (you DID hire him to sell your product or service after all), or more likely, he just doesn’t know enough to know what to do when “Critical Error” appears on the screen.
So the next logical step is to outsource your computer support to technical experts. In an attempt to save money, you decide to use your receptionist’s ex-boyfriend’s brother, who works in the computer department at SomeBigCompany, Inc. He’s plenty qualified and willing to help you out. Great! What a relief! So when you call him for help Monday morning, he’s on the job for you, in his words, “either on Thursday night at 8:30pm, or probably some time next Sunday would be ok.” He turns out to be unavailable when you need help most.
Finally, it’s time to bite the bullet and really get your office network straightened out. You hire a reputable company to set up the equipment you know you need, and they do a great job installing everything. But once the hard work is over, and your bank balance is significantly lower, they don't respond to your phone calls quite as quickly as they used to, and they seem generally disinterested in helping you out. In fact, you get the impression that your company is just too small for them to worry about.
If all this sounds familiar, believe me, I know the story well. Your business may not be big, but you use the same computer technology as the big guys. Your business requires quality, timely computer network support, too.
When I started my company, I made a decision to work exclusively with small-to-medium-size businesses. Why? I dislike large companies and big corporate culture. I also want to have an impact instead of feeling like a cog in a machine. I get jazzed by creating and implementing solutions that positively impact the success of your business.
I'm good at what I do because this is who I am. I really do love my job. I was fortunate to be in a position to hire two people that are my good friends as well as business associates. We share similar goals and business philosophies, and moreover, they love their jobs, too. Together we make a great team. We’d love the opportunity to be a part of your team and help make your business fly high.
